Defense of the Religion of Peace - Use Violence

To all the peace activists that think the Americans and the Israelis use "disproportionate" force. Take a look at this picture.

Pope Benedict of the Roman Catholic Church quotes an ancient emperor's comments on Islam stating that Jihad has only brought evil things to the world.

Gaza Muslims respond by forming a terrorist group stating "every place relevant to Christians will be a target until the cursed infidel -– the Vatican -– apologizes to Muslims." (Jihad Watch Article)

Wouldn't you call this disproportionate? I'm an Anglican. I'm not a Roman Catholic. But that terrorist group plus a large number of rioters elsewhere in the Middle East are now going to be targeting any and all Christian sites. Any and all Christians. All as a response to the one man's quotation of a historical figure. Would you not call that a disproportionate response? Or are you going to continue to sympathise with "poor Palestinians" (who take up arms and hide behind their own children while firing on civilians).
